River City Living Church is an all-inclusive affirming community of believers and seekers. Our goal is to share the Good News with everyone! Our Mission is to celebrate the Love of Jesus by growing, encouraging, and serving, our community and our world.
Facilities

In the same location for over 27 years, River City Living Church has become an intricate part of the Olmos Park / Monte Vista areas. The Sanctuary was artfully remodeled in 2009/10 to create a clean and comfortable space to worship. You will feel right at home in this up to date yet traditional space.
The Garden
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think on these things.” Philippians 4:8
River City Living Church offers a Prayer and Mediation garden that is welcoming and relaxing. With a large covered patio and paved walking paths, the garden is wheel chair accessible and offers many sites and delightful smells. Feel free to enjoy the garden before or after any service, it's there for you! A very special thank you to the Peaceful Planters Gardening Group which volunteers their time and resources to enhance and maintain the garden.
The Fountain
“Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 14:4
the Prayer and Meditation Garden flows a gentle water fountain into a comforting pond being over looked by an angel. The water fountain is dedicated to the memory to all of those who have lost the battle to HIV/AIDS. As you gaze upon its waters, may you remember the smiles of those who have passed on before us.
The Peace Pole
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.” John 14:27
“A Peace Pole is an internationally-recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family, standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth. Each Peace Pole bears the message May Peace Prevail on Earth.” – The World Peace Prayer Society.
River City Living Church is honored to be a part of the Peace Pole Project. While in the Prayer and Mediation Garden, please remember to say a prayer for peace around the world.

Ceremonies

Looking for the perfect venue for a commitment ceremony or wedding? With seating up to 60 guests, the sanctuary is the ideal location for an intimate and romantic ceremony. It is a very popular wedding / commitment ceremony venue so it is suggested that you book your date at least three months in advance by calling 210-822-1121.
